What this page is
This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impressive.
What we collect
- Your email address, username and password — the password is stored hashed and nobody here can read it.
- Anything you choose to put in your profile.
- The IP address and browser you sign in from, kept as a security history so you can see sessions you do not recognise.
- What you surf and advertise, because that is what the credit system counts.
- Messages you send us through support or the contact form.
Why
To run the site: to sign you in, to count credits honestly, to show your advertising, to answer you, and to spot people gaming the system. We do not sell any of it.
We send you messages about your account, its security, and any support conversation you have started. Those are not optional — they are how you get a verification link or a password reset. Anything else is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off again on your account page.
How long we keep it
Your account data for as long as the account exists, and for a short window afterwards so a closure can be undone if it was a mistake. Security history and audit records are kept longer, because their whole purpose is answering questions about the past.
Your rights
You can see and correct most of what we hold from your account page, and you can close your account there. For anything else — a copy of your data, or a deletion that goes further than closing the account — use the contact page.
Cookies
A session cookie so you stay signed in, and one that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Nothing that follows you to other sites.
Changes
When this policy changes the version number goes up and the effective date changes. Both are shown at the top of this page.
